Huron High School's 'Second Samuel' this weekend at high school auditorium

HURON — Southern Georgia during the 1940s was a simpler time, particularly in a small town called Second Samuel, the scene and the title of Huron High School’s fall play.
The curtain rises at 7 p.m. tonight at Saturday night, at the Huron High School Auditorium. Tickets are available at the door and activity passes are accepted.
The war was over and things were returning to normal, until Miss Gertrude passed away, turning the entire town upside down, making everyone in Second Samuel ponder if anything will be normal again.
Tessa Gogolin, Samantha Swanson and Kaiden Caudell rehearse a scene from “Second Samuel.”
