SIOUX FALLS — Results of the SDHSAA State One Act Play Festival held over the weekend at O’Gorman High School in Sioux Falls netted Superior rankings for Huron, James Valley Christian and Sunshine Bible Academy.
Results include:
Class AA:
Superior
Performers:
• Jack Kluth, Kendra Paye and Emersen Mitchell, Huron, in “Carrying On.”
Class B:
Superior Play:
• “Beast of the Baskervilles” by Sunshine Bible Academy, directed by Laura Haun.
• “The Medicine Show or How to Succeed in Medicine without Really Trying,” James Valley Christian School, directed by Kathy Hofer and Jill Mendel.
Superior Performers:
• SBA: Evelyn Jones, Katie Nguyen and Gage Davis
• JVCS: Melissa Thompson, Autymn Gross, Angelina Zuccaro, Julia Blom, Seth Mendel, Faith Pichura and Matthew Krogstad.
Superior Ensemble:
• JVCS in “The Medicine Show or How to Succeed in Medicine Without Really Trying”: Jordyn Cutshaw, Emma Miller, Cassie Stahl, Josiah Bishop, Isabel Blom and Jeralyn Fast.
