ABERDEEN — Annalise Bishop of Huron was among seven recruits to join the Northern State University swim team on Tuesday, according to coach Nicole Monanian.
“These swimmers are going to continue to elevate our program,” said Monanian. “Every swimmer in this signing class is thrilled to be joining our swimming program, Northern State University and the Aberdeen community. We did not sacrifice quality for quantity with this class, we have both.
Bishop, who is a senior at James Valley Christian, has been a member of the Huron Swim Team for the past 10 years. She is a 4-year South Dakota Long Course state qualifier, two-time state finalist and the 2018 SD Long Course State B Championship high point runner-up.”
“Annalise has a strong breaststroke and has improved dramatically over the past few years,” Monanian said. “We are always excited to bring in local South Dakota talent and she is going to be a great addition to our team.”
Bishop is the daughter of Tim and Lisa Bishop.
