REDFIELD — Irma Madelyn Stammer, 93, of Redfield, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 8, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Redfield. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. Family will be present beginning at 6 p.m. A prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. followed by the rosary
Irma Madelyn Muellenberg was born October 26, 1924, in Zell to Ed and Laura (Geuke) Muellenberg. She graduated from Redfield High School in 1942. She was united in marriage to Marlin Stammer October 25, 1944. She worked for the S.D. Development Center for 17 years, retiring  at 62.  
She is survived by her children, Marlin Stammer Jr., Loren Stammer both of Calif., Gary Stammer of Neb., Linda McLain of S.D., Sheri Stammer of Colo., Kyle Zens of S.D., Laure  Staebell of Colo., and Jann Goodell of  Mont.; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Edward “Bud” Muellenberg.
She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant daughter, Annita; and sisters, Marcella Votsis, Arlene Wright, Gladys Kempe, and Lois Galvin.
