District 6 winners in the Iroquois American Legion Unit 280 Poetry and Essay contests were, from left, Zackary Almont, Airabella Deysel, and Connor Dant. Almont took first place in the Class V Poetry contest; Deysel placed second in the Class III Essay contest; and Connor Dant placed first in the Class VI Essay contest. Other essay winners Calli Knutson, Class IV second place, and Lily Blue, Class V first place.
