It's 2021 Homecoming week at HHS

Courtesy photo Monday begins Homecoming Week at Huron High School, with different themed days taking place throughout the week and leading up to the homecoming parade Friday afternoon and the homecoming football game Friday night against Watertown at Tiger Stadium. Homecoming King and Queen candidates were selected and coronation will take place Thursday night at Huron Arena, following the volleyball game against Harrisburg. King candidates, from left in the back row are, Cade McNeil, Drew Arteman, Jayden Beck, Eh Hser Htoo and Roger Puterbaugh. Queen candidates in the front row are Kenya Bigelow, Brylee Hamilton, Reese Rozell, Cameran Rathjen and Emily Dale.

HURON — Huron High School will celebrate Homecoming Week beginning Monday, with the 2021 Homecoming celebration following the theme “Logo HoCo” (#logohoco).

Each day of Homecoming Week will feature a dress-up theme. Those will include:

• Monday’s dress up theme is My Pillow Day (pajamas), with a junior varsity golf ESD at Broadland Creek Golf Course.

The burning of the H at Tiger Stadium will begin at 8:30 p.m. The public is invited.

• Tuesday, Target Tuesday (red polo top and khaki bottoms). Soccer is planned at Tiger Stadium.

• Wednesday is Cabela’s Day, wearing hunting, cammo  or animal print.

• Thursday, the dress-up theme is Spotify, with a volleyball game against Harrisburg in Huron Arena.

Coronation will follow the volleyball game at 8:15 p.m. in the Arena.

• Friday, the dress-up theme will be wearing Logo HoCo Class T’s.

Early dismissal will be at 1:30 p.m., with the parade at 2 p.m. and the football game against Watertown at 7 p.m.
