HURON — Nothing says the holidays are here like the ugly Christmas sweater. And Stephanie Ptak, owner of Just Fabulous Boutique on the corner of Third Street and Dakota Avenue, is looking forward to sharing the joy by hosting a silent auction with two top-notch “ugly” Christmas sweaters donated to her upscale consignment store.
“The two sweaters came from an anonymous donor and she said ‘do something with them,’” Ptak said. “So I decided to have an auction to benefit United Way.
“I’m hoping to make this an annual event,” she added.
