HURON — The team representing Jack Links won the 2017 Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau Golf Classic, held Aug. 18 at the Huron Country Club.
A total of 19 teams participated in the nine-hole, four-person scramble tournament, with several Huron-area businesses supporting the event as prize sponsors and others as hole sponsors.
First, second and last place prizes were “awarded” at the close of play.

Winners of the DAL (Dead-A** Last) prize was the team from Montgomery Agency. Team members were Johnny Roache, Scott Ptak, Lesle Tobkin and Adrian Gibson. Dakota Provisions’ three-man team of Ken Rutledge, Jordan Woodbury and Jeff Sveen finished second.
Jack Links took home the top prize and bragging rights for the year. Team members were Bryan Cahil, Shawn Privett, Jared Ackman and Jesse Hajek.
