BOZEMAN, Mont. — John Edward McKinley, 5 months, of Bozeman, Mont., passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, after battling Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.
Funeral service will be 4:30 p.m., Friday June 29, at the LDS Church in Los Lunas, N.M. Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mathews Family Cemetery in Mountainair, N.M.
John Edward McKinley was born December 26, 2017, in Bozeman, Mont. to Tyler and Cortney McKinley. This sweet baby boy, along with his parents, gave it all they had and remained strong and united as they continued to fight John’s illness
He is survived by his parents, Tyler and Cortney McKinley of Bozeman, Mont.; maternal grandparents, Cody and Lenore Fastnacht of Bosque Farms, N.M.; paternal grandparents, Kelly (Cody Mathews) Kaiser of Belen, N.M.; and Monty (Nancy) McKinley of Peralta, N.M.; great-grandparents, Carroll and Pearl Taylor of Los Lunas, N.M,, Monte and Lana Fastnacht of Bosque Farms, N.M., and Ronald and Debbie Kaiser of Belen, N.M.; great-great-grandparents, Faye Fastnacht of Wessington Springs, Marvin Taylor of Grants, N.M., and Larry and Betty Downing of Milan, N.M.; aunts and uncles, Lariand Cody Fastnacht, Jr., and Mikayla and Owen McKinley; cousin, Juan Carrillo, Jr.; and numerous great- and great-great-uncles, aunts and cousins, plus a very large group of close family friends, who are considered as John’s extended family.
A fundraiser “Our Heartbeats for John Go On” through Facebook, will continue to help cover expenses and help ease the burden on this young family.
