CLARK — John Fredrick Berger, 89, of Clark, and formerly of Lake City, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020.
A PUBLIC visitation time, with CDC guidelines in place, will be held on Friday from 12 to 2 p.m., at the Furness Funeral Home Chapel in Clark.
A PRIVATE funeral service will be held Friday afternoon in the Furness Funeral Home Chapel at Clark, with The Reverend Mindy Ehrke officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Clark.
John was born to Oscar and Hattie Berger on February 25, 1931.
He married Arlene Hegseth on June 8, 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene (Hegseth) Berger; daughters, Mary (Duane) Aldrich, Ruth (Darrel) Haugerud, and Janel (Mike) Downs; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his parents-in-law; two brothers; two sisters; three brothers-in-law; two nephews; a son-in-law; and a sister-in-law.
