PORTLAND, Ore. — John H. Rich, 48, of Portland, Ore., passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017, at home after succumbing to heart disease.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Huron.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; stepsons, Eric (Joy), Josh and Bryan; grandsons, Silas and Skyler; parents, Bill and Carol; father-in-law, Larry Ransom; siblings, Evelyn Downey, Edward (Becky) Downey, Paulette Hall, Bill Rich, Jr., and Fay Rich; sisters-in-law, Paulette (Twigg) Wehrmann, and Kim Knutson; brothers- in-law, David, and Vaughn Ransom; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
John was a man that always put others before himself, even until the very end. He is greatly loved by many and will be eternally missed by all the ones whose lives he touched.
