HOWARD — Joseph Scott Feldhaus, 54, of Howard, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 20, at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Howard,with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. Wednesday with a Scripture Service at 4 p.m. both at the church.
Joe was born February 26, 1964, at Mitchell to Robert and Carol (Sherman) Feldhaus. He grew up on the family farm and eventually took over the dairy operation. He was united in marriage to Laurie Calmus August 8, 1984. In 2010, he would meet Lynette Ellefson. That same year he was diagnosed with kidney cancer.
He is survived by the love of his life, Lynette Ellefson; children, Lindsey (Aaron) Jeffrey of Howard, Daniel Feldhaus of Ipswich, Robert (Laura) Feldhaus of Huron, Megan (Ricko) Krynauw of Huron, Taylor Feldhaus of Aberdeen; eight grandchildren; mother, Carol Feldhaus of Howard; siblings, Greg (Julie) Feldhaus of Howard, Janet (Marvin) Kizer of Howard, Diane (Dale) of Sioux Falls, Roberta Feldhaus of Brookings, Teresa (Roger) Johnson of Canova, and Jon (Mary) Feldhaus of Howard; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Feldhaus.
