IROQUOIS — Judy Faye Dubro, 70, of rural Iroquois, passed away on Friday, July, 10, 2020, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.


A private family service will be held on Wednesday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Iroquois.


Graveside service, open to the public, will begin at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation, with no family present, will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Welter Funeral Home in Huron.


Judy Faye Eckmann, the daughter of Darold and Ila (Meink) Eckmann was born on January 26, 1950, in Huron. She graduated from Huron High School in 1968. Following high school, she attended Northwestern College of Commerce in Huron and then worked at Northwestern Public Service.


On October 4, 1969, she married the love of her life, Stanley Dubro, in Huron. They had two children, Chad and Julie. Stan and Judy have lived and farmed south of Iroquois their entire married life.


Grateful for sharing her life is her husband, Stan; two children, Chad (Angel) Dubro of Iroquois, and Julie (Andy) Boomsma of Wolsey; six grandchildren, Keistan, Katie, and Kera Dubro, and Ally, Mya, and Rachel Boomsma; She is also survived by her brother, Doug (Peggy) Eckmann of Cavour; mother-in-law, Margery Dubro of Huron; two sisters–in-law, Karen (Gene) Halsey of Huron, and Kathy Kasperson of Huron; one brother-in-law, Wayne (Patti) Dubro of Iroquois.
