ASHTON — Judy Lynn (Frericks) Frost, 70, of Ashton, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Redfield Care and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family.
She has been cremated and a committal service will take place at a later date. Visitation with family present, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. A prayer service will follow at 7p.m.
Judy Lynn Frericks was born April 4, 1947, in Redfield to Harry and Frieda (Holdorf) Frericks. She grew up near Athol and attended school in Athol and then Redfield. She was united in marriage to Terry Frost February 15, 1966.
She had been employed by the S.D. Developmental Center, the Redfield Livestock sale barn, the Penny Pincher and True Value. She also worked at the family antique business, Trailer Treasures.
She is survived by husband; children, Kim (Mark) Potratz of Grand Forks, N.D., Travis (Kaylin) Frost of Ashton, and Trava (Rodger) Olivier of Pipestone, Minn.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Bair of Groton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Verne Frericks, Catherine Taylor, Leonard Frericks, Darwin Frericks, Richard Frericks, Danny Frericks, Sally Sale, Gary Frericks and Mike Frericks; grandson, Phillip Bogenrief; and great-niece, Destinee Zens.
