COLUMBIA — Judy H. Buntrock, 73, of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, in Columbia.
Her funeral was held Oct. 5, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Columbia, with Pastor Jordan Andreasen officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Judy Voorhees was born Sept. 11, 1947, to Donald and Helen Voorhees in Huron. She graduated from Hitchcock High School in 1965, then attended Northern State College.
She married Dwain Buntrock on June 25, 1966, and they lived on the Buntrock homestead for the next 54 years. In addition to raising three children, she also worked full time. After retiring, they wintered in Arizona and Georgia, and traveled to Germany, France and Spain.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband; children, Shane (Sara) Buntrock, Dustin Buntrock and Heather Lockerman; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Gerry (Howard) Richardson, Susan Jacobson, Linda (Pete) Stach, Ruth (Gary) Felderman, Donna Shelley and Don (Dana) Voorhees; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
