HURON/McALLEN, Texas - Karen K. Smith, 79, of McAllen, Texas, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 8, 2018, at her residence in McAllen, Texas.
Born in Huron, Karen lived in Sterling, Illinois and enjoyed spending the winter season in McAllen.
She is survived by her loving husband, Marvin V. Smith of McAllen, Texas; two children, Lysa (Tom) Bluhm of Rock Falls, Ill., Todd (Lori) Smith of Sterling, Ill.; four grandchildren, Stephanie (David) Richards, Mellysa (Tyler) Devine, Brock Smith, Bryce Smith; and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg, Texas.
