HURON – A Karen New Year’s celebration begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Nordby Exhibit Hall for 4-H, Youth and Community.
The event will feature several speakers as well as traditional cultural dancing.
Also planned are competitions in cane ball, volleyball and women’s soccer.
After the celebration, there will be free food. The public is welcome to attend.
