ORIENT — Kathryn Edgar, 73, of Orient, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019, at Avera Dougherty Hospice House, Sioux Falls.
Funeral Mass was held Monday, April 15, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Orient.
Kathryn Anne Remily was born January 5, 1946, in Longview, Wash. to Elmer and Mildred (Morris) Remily. She was united in marriage to Clayton Kindle. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Orient. She married Donald Edgar on February 16, 1988.
She is survived by her husband, Don; children, Stephanie Snyder, Matthew Kindle, and Charlene Shawd; stepchildren, Dennis Edgar, Dean Edgar, Jeanine Laabs, Tim Edgar, Jane McCloud, Terry Edgar, Thomas Edgar, James Edgar, and Joel Edgar; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, David Remily, Dianne Muellenberg, and Marcia Murray.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepson, Jerry Edgar; stepgrandchildren, Tasha Edgar, Derek Rogers, and Aaron Laabs.
