TULARE — Kennedy Ann Tomsha, 18, of Tulare, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident.   
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, November 9, at the Tulare United Church in Tulare. Burial will follow in the Crandon Cemetery at rural Crandon Township. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 7 p.m. at Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. A prayer service and time for sharing will follow at 7 p.m.  Family will be present beginning at 5 p.m. to accept condolences.  
Kennedy Ann Tomsha was born December 30, 1998, in Aberdeen to Tom Tomsha and Wendy (Beck) Tomsha Quinn. She grew up on the Tomsha farm and attended Hitchcock-Tulare School graduating in May of 2017. She participated in cheerleading, FCCLA and sports. She recently started college at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
She is survived by her parents, Tom (Jill) Tomsha of Tulare, and Wendy (Chris) Quinn of Sioux Falls; sister, Madison Quinn of Sioux Falls; grandparents, Linda Tomsha and Rich Bottum of Tulare, Doug and Ann Murfield of Watertown, and Jim and Verna Ellenson of Redfield; special friends, Kaytlyn Boomsma, and Riley Zastrow; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will help establish a scholarship in Kennedy’s name at the Hitchcock-Tulare High School. Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
