ABERDEEN — Larry E. Conrade, 64, of Aberdeen, formerly of Redfield, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Aberdeen Health and Rehab in Aberdeen.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 10, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Redfield. Burial will follow in the St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery at Redfield. Visitation with family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. A prayer service and a rosary, led by the Knights of Columbus, will follow at 7 p.m.
Lawrence Eugene Conrade was born June 12, 1953, in Huron to Bud and Deloris (Stemper) Conrade. He attended Redfield Public School where he was a student in the Special Education program. He delivered newspapers and worked at Leo’s Good Food before becoming part of the staff at the Redfield Developmental Center. He was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
In 1997, he joined Aspire and moved to Aberdeen into his own apartment. He worked part-time at Herbergers for many years.
He is survived by his mother, Deloris, of Rapid City; his brothers, Pat (Anna) Conrade of Baltic, and Chris Conrade of Loveland, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Jody; and sister-in-law, Janice Conrade.
Arrangements have been entrusted with Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield.
