SIOUX FALLS — Larry Gene Jung, 81, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020, at his home in Sioux Falls.
Private family interment will be at Hills of Rest Memorial Park Wildwood Cremation Garden, Sioux Falls.
Larry was born on February 3, 1939, in Lincoln, Neb., to Wendell and Virginia (Elseman) Jung.
Following high school Larry honorably served in the United States Navy.
Larry married Bonnie Vollenweider on March 18, 1962, in Huron.
Larry enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved biking, grilling, working in his yard and his many home remodeling projects.
He is survived by his two daughters, Paige Jung and Wendy Jung; four grandsons, Justin Jung, Jared Cantalope, Jesse (Tabitha) Cantalope, and Tyler Jung; five great-grandchildren, Nico Jung, Beckham Cantalope, Ari Jung, Bailey Cantalope and Barron Cantalope; and friend, Betty Mortenson.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jung; son, Troy Jung; his parents; and siblings, Karon Goehner, Keith Kaiser and Sharon Hardie.
