HURON — Larry Songer, 75, of Huron, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at his home in Huron.
His funeral service will be held at a later date.
Larry Ellis Songer, the son of Raymond and Hazel (Baughman) Songer, was born on May 4, 1944, in rural Iroquois, SD. He moved with his parents to various farms in South Dakota.
    Larry worked at Don’t Spill the Beans as a dishwasher for many years.
 Larry enjoyed the outdoors, lawn work and mowing. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and going to the State Fair.
 Grateful for having shared in Larry’s life are his two sisters, Geneva Leetch of Huron, Leota (Lee) Story of Bassett, Neb.; and a brother, Wayne (Barb) Songer of Huron; a special friend Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 Larry was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers, and three sisters.
