LITTLEā€ˆROCK, Ark. — Lavina Mae Taylor, 84, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2017, in Little Rock, Ark.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday June 3, at the Conde Cemetery in Conde.
She was born April 8, 1932, in St. Paul, Minn. and grew up in Hinkley, Minn. She was united in marriage to Donald Keith Taylor of Conde in 1951. His job with the Department of Agriculture took them to New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Arkansas, North Carolina, and finally back home to South Dakota where the Taylor’s originate.
She will be remembered as a devoted mother and wonderful homemaker. She notoriously put others first and was a great friend to many. We will miss her advice, the endless magazine orders, the “freebies”, coupon clipping, newspaper articles she felt pertained to us, saved recipes never cooked and thoughtful cards.
She is survived by her son, Steven (Monica) Taylor and their children, Zac, Gray and Megan; and her daughter, Sandra Boyle and her sons, John and Dylan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Keith Taylor; mother, Juliet; father, Reinholt; siblings, Earl, Edward, Robert, Herman, Dorothy, Vivian and Bernice.
Roller Funeral Homes of Little Rock, Ark. and Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home of Redfield have been entrusted with arrangements.
