Learning about fire safety

Students at Kindernook Preschool were able to reinforce their fire safety skills thanks to local firefighters Jerad Sammons and Jeremy James. They enjoyed learning about the special protective clothing firefighters wear, as well as observing the many features of a real fire truck.

The 3-year-old class, proudly wearing their Dalmation fire dog hats, include, back row, from left, Liam Doherty, Easton Bischoff, Storm Tschetter, Nash Kremer, firefighter Sammons, Elizabeth Sorben, Maddie Andrews, Taylee Breen, Madyson Bateman and Kemrey DeDeyne; and in front, Grey Thelen, Faith Nohr, Kymber Brueggeman, Kellen Solem, Michael Hershman, Emma Matthews, Paisley Songer, Hadley Alves and Georgia Wachter. The 4-year-old class had the opportunity to travel to the North Fire Station and receive an educational tour, compliments of Firefighter Jeremy James, shown with the children, back row, from left, Lilly Powell, Evie Gronewold, Ashtyn Pedersen, Cruz Chenoweth, Teegan Radke, Liamm Trebelcock, Isaac Schoonhoven, Zadok Raye, Leo Wilson, Kennidee Kunze and Roy Cass; and in front, Dominic Barragan, Ziggy Jacobs, Tyson Koester, Grace Diede, Bentley Reimer, Kellan Ball, Lillian Miller, Jack Too, Zayder Stahl, Emersyn Jungemann and Harley Jons.
