Holy Trinity and Huron High School alumni Lizzie Gilbert visited the Holy Trinity second graders to teach them what a medical lab tech does.

The students looked at germs grown on culture plates, dressed in PPE (personal protective equipment), and practiced “streaking” colored water onto culture plates. The students enjoyed every minute!

Lizzie and her classmate, Saylor, both attend Lake Area Tech in Watertown.
