LeRoy C. Krapp, 78, of Clark

CLARK — LeRoy C. Krapp was born March 15, 1943, to Clarence and Thelma (Wicks) Krapp in Clark. He passed away on November 17, 2021, at Prairie Lakes Hospital of a heart attack. He was 78 years old.
Visitation will be held 1 p.m. today, followed by the Memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Furness Funeral Home Chapel. Refreshments will follow at the community center of the Ullyot Building in Clark.
LeRoy grew up in Clark County. He attended Merton Country school and graduated from Clark High School in 1961. He entered the Army National Guard in March 1960 and served until March 1966. He worked in Moline, Illinois at a Foundry and as a carpenter for 2 years. He returned to Clark and farmed for several years. He worked at Desnoyers Hardware in Clark, McCain Foods in Clark, and later Dakota Tube in Watertown. He retired and moved to Clark.
In retirement LeRoy enjoyed gardening and continually researching and reading up on medical issues and supplements. He had an immense knowledge of food and supplements.
LeRoy is survived by three sisters, Shirley (Kip) Bowden of Huron, Arlys (Delmyn) Johnson of Sioux Falls; and Jean (Garry) Campbell of Greenville, Wis., Steve Ogan brother-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Doris Ogan; great-niece, Amanda Jo; and great nephew, Kyle.
