The action was hot and heavy in the early going at the Iverson Dakota Challenge Thursday night, which was the opening act in the WISSOTA Challenge Series, at Dakota State Fair Speedway. In the first photo, Kent Arment of Aberdeen (9) and Jeffrey Massingill of Keewatin, Minn., do battle into turn three during a late model heat race. In the next photo, Brian Diede of Huron (1QT) gets the inside line out of turn four as he battles Jake Redettzke of Eau Claire, Wis., during their WISSOTA late model heat race. Action returns to DSFS on Saturday night, with the Prostrollos Motors Challenge Cup XVII.
