To the Editor:
Just because a person tells lies over and over again doesn’t make them less of a liar. If you can’t be truthful, honesty is doubtful. And when trust is on a national scale, that person needs to be held accountable.
Leaders are put in positions of authority based on trust, not on political affiliations. That’s the reason for term limits or resignations. Our checks and balances have worked well so far; let’s hope it continues.
It’s hard to fathom a distrust of Democrats when we had a liar in chief in the Oval Office for four years.
