To the Editor:

Mr. Flowers is mistaken when he says police officers were killed during the Jan. 6 disturbance at the Capital. No one was killed there that day except Ashli Babbit, a Trump supporter.

(Editor’s note: While five lost their lives Jan. 6, two were due to heart attack, one was due to overdose, one was due to stroke, and Ms. Babbit was shot. Capital Police officer Brian Sicknick suffered two strokes due to being sprayed with an irritant chemical, but the medical examiner did rule the death due to the second stroke, and therefore, a “natural causes” fatality.)

He also overlooks the reason our Congressional delegation voted against the prescription drug bill - it was included in a massive spending bill that this nation cannot afford, due to sky-high inflation.
