Letter to the Editor - Barnes 11-4

To the Editor:
Climate change is a scientifically documented reality. Why is the U.S. continuing to accelerate the process? We are energy sufficient, yet large areas of wilderness and unique public domain lands are being proposed for energy development. Wind, solar and hydro are all viable alternatives. Is the word nonrenewable no longer in our vocabulary? I spent my career setting aside areas for wildlife so the future generations could enjoy what we take for granted now. The sooner we realize our resources and our planet are irreplaceable, the more we should get back to the One who created it.
