Library summer reading program inspires Teen Rummage Sale Flip

Posted

HURON — The theme for this year’s Summer Reading Program is Build a Better World and the youth at the library are striving to accomplish this by repurposing. The teens are holding a Teen Rummage Sale Flip.
Using a budget, each team will shop for items to repurpose. The finished projects will be sold on July 22 at the Ravine Lake Summer Festival. The team that makes the most profit wins. All proceeds will go to the library teen program. Have your sixth-12th grade youth stop by the library for sign up.
For more information about this program, stop by the Huron Public Library or phone 353-8530. Or, visit our webpage at libraryhuronsd.com, or find us on Facebook.
