Linda 'Billie' Shillingstad, 68, of Mobridge

MOBRIDGE — Linda “Billie” Shillingstad, 68, of Mobridge, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 , at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Friday, October 19, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge. Visitation will start at 5 p.m. Thursday at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Linda Shillingstad was born May 26, 1950, in Mobridge to Milton and Cleo (Mulder)Tatro. She attended Mobridge High School and was united in marriage to Jim Shillingstad October 31, 1975.
In 1987, Jim went to work on the DM&E railroad in Huron.She worked at Osco Drug as a pharmacy technician until 2006. After Jim retired, the couple moved back to Mobridge. She was diagnosed in 2015, with pancreatic cancer.   
She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Jina and BJ Shillingstad; five grandchildren; siblings, Joan Peterson, Gail Nordstrom, Francis (Jim) Peterson, Carol (Frank) Ducheneaux, Greg (Gwen) Tatro; three sisters-in-law; and her very special friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlotte Anderson; a niece; three nephews; and three brothers-in-law.
In lieu of memorial flowers and plants, the family requests memorial trees to be planted out at Billie and Jim’s Home.
