ORIENT — Lloyd Boyd, 89, of Orient, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at the Faulkton Senior Living.
A memorial service was held November 9, 2019, at Luce Funeral Home in Faulkton, with Pastor LeShea Avery presiding.
Burial will take place in the Ida Cemetery, Munden, Kan., at a later date.
Lloyd Erroll Boyd was born September 25, 1930, in Munden, Kan., to Cecil and Rose (Vizner) Boyd. In 1952, Lloyd married Naoma Cromwell, and later divorced in 1963.
In 1969, Lloyd married Bonnie Ehrich Ward. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sons, Cecil, and Galen; daughters, Deanna (Delmar) Schaefers, and Samanntha (Doug) Pugh; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Connie Stewart, and Sandy (Perry) Schmidt; brother-in-law, Allen (Debbie) Ehrich; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three grandchildren, Tobias Schaefers, Kathryn Pugh, and Baby Boy Boyd.
