HURON — Lorraine Schuett Jacobson, 99, of Huron, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2020, at Avantara – Huron.
Her memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Kuhler Funeral Home. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, in the Collins Cemetery, Willow Lake.
Lorraine V. Ramse was born Oct. 4, 1921, to Gilbert and Tena Ramse at Lennox. On Dec. 4, 1940, Lorraine married Reynold Schuett of Sioux Falls. They farmed near Willow Lake, moving to Huron in 1977.
On Nov. 13, 2004, she married Iven Jacobson at Huron.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sandrell, at the age of three; her husband of 62 years, Reynold in 2002; her husband Iven in March 2014; and three siblings.
She is survived by her children, Lowen (Cheryl), Lonnie, and Lynn (Gloria) Schuett; her step-children, Ronald Jacobson, Randy (Adele) Jacobson and Joan (Marvin) French; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.
