ORIENT — Marie Jean Blachford, 84, of Orient, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, at Reck Funeral Home in Miller.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral. Masks are required at the service. The funeral service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website.
Marie Jean was born Nov. 24, 1935, to Delbert and Agnes (Brudvig) Spencer.
She married Marlin Fischer November 9, 1952. She later married Howard Blachford Dec. 4, 1972.
She is survived by her husband, Howard; children, Marla Fischer Nelson, Jeffrey (Heidi) Fischer, Clayton (Jacqueline) Blachford, and Matthew (Cassandra) Blachford; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary (Bernie) Tyrrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Katheryn Fischer; grandson, Eric Robinson; sisters, Delores (Kenneth) Corbin, Peggy (Lyle) Lorenz, and Gracie (Roger) Lorenz; and brothers, Delbert Spencer, Jr. and Richard Spencer.
