Marjorie Genzlinger, 91, of Howard

HOWARD — Marjorie Loretta Genzlinger, 91, of Howard, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Society in Howard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 26, at St. Agatha Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Howard. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. with a Scripture service to be said at 4 p.m. all at the church.
Marjorie Loretta Neises was born September 16, 1929, southeast of Howard to William and Mary (Leider) Neises. She graduated from Burbank High School in 1944. She was united in marriage to Perry Genzlinger October 5, 1949. The couple spent the next 69 years farming. She worked as a waitress at the Cozy Café, and as a bookkeeper for Farmers Union in Howard. She had been a 4-H Leader and was active in the St. Agatha Ladies Aid.
She is survived by her husband, Perry; children, Barbara (Dave Hahn) Genzlinger of Howard, Geraldine (Jerry) Benson of Lennox, Larry (Linda Baartman) Genzlinger of Howard, Ray (Kay) Genzlinger of Winfred, Mike (Lisa) Genzlinger of Canova; 14
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dolores Rasmussen, Alice Kaufmann, Phyllis Paradeis, all of Howard,  and Leon Neises of Howard; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis; granddaughter, Sarah Genzlinger; and brothers, John and Jerry Neises.
