Marjorie Minnick-Stotz, 100, of Redfield

REDFIELD — Marjorie Elva (Wandell) Minnick-Stotz, 100, of Redfield, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018, at the Redfield Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 16, at Hyke Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Frankfort Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Friday at Hyke Funeral Home. Family will be present to receive condolences.
Marjorie Elva Wandell was born April 5, 1918, in Frankfort to Wesley and Lenora (Wetzbarger) Wandell. She graduated from Doland High School in 1936.
She was united in marriage to Henry Minnick October 23, 1939. She was a farmers wife until 1953, when they moved to Redfield. She was employed by the Redfield State Hospital until her retirement in 1983. She married Alfred Stotz March 26, 1986. Together they enjoyed camping and traveling.
She is survived by her children, John (Peggy) Minnick of Pierre, and Cheryl Ann (Clyde) Neff of Mandan, N.D.; sister, Lenora Shult of Redfield;  five grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her both her husband’s; infant son, Henry Allen Minnick, her siblings, Herbert, Glenn, Allen, Ethel Severson, Rosalie Mason, and Mary Shantz.
