YANKTON — Mark D. Giziewski, 62, of Yankton, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at his residence under hospice care. 
Funeral services will be 11 a.m, Saturday, September 23, at the First United Methodist Church in Yankton. Burial will be in the Yankton Cemetery at Yankton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.   
Mark D. Giziewski was born December 6, 1954, in Huron to Paul and Arlene (Williams) Giziewski. He graduated from Wagner High School and attended Huron College. He started as an insurance agent working for Farm Bureau Insurance in Huron. He became a District Manager in Aberdeen, Watertown, and then Yankton.
He was united in marriage to Lydia Hollmann June 15, 1974. He
was a charter member of LUTCF.  He was also an active member of the First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia; children, Tara (Terry) Bush, Amy (Clint) Bultsma both of Plankinton, and Scott (Mindy) Giziewski of Yankton; eleven grandchildren; honorary granddaughter, Carly Joynt; siblings,  Lynn (John) Hamill of Omaha Neb., Paula (Tim) Speidel of Belle Fourche, and Kevin (Kathy) Giziewski of Champlin, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and in-laws, Bill and Myrtle Hollmann. 
The Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory of Yankton is assisting with service details.
