ROSCOE — Marlene Beverly (Friese) Penfold, 84, of Roscoe, and formerly of Redfield, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020, in Aberdeen.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield, with Reverend Brian Wasmoen officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Redfield.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hyke Funeral Home, with family present at 6 p.m.
Marlene Beverly Friese was born May 9, 1935, to Walt and Alice (Anderson) Friese. On September 3, 1952, she married John Sheridan.
She is survived by her children, Verdelle (Sue) Sheridan, Marilyn (Mike) Johnson, Nancy (Stan) Mikolajczyk, Kevin Sheridan, Floyd (Di) Sheridan, Corey (Kathy) Sheridan, Sharla Sheridan, Ferlin (Brenda) Sheridan, and Danelle Sheridan; a brother, Garrold (Charlotte) Friese; and a sister, Darolyn (Lloyd) Kineard.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; daughter, Barbara; son, Sheldon; brother, Eldeen Friese; and sister, Vi Trowbridge.
