DOLAND — Martin “Marty” L. Luffman, 65, of Doland, passed Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at his home.
His memorial service with military honors, will be 3 p.m., Monday, July 9, at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. There will be a time of fellowship following the service at the J & A Bar in Doland. Visitation with family present will be one hour prior to the memorial service.
Martin L. Luffman was born June 13, 1953, in Seneca Falls, N.Y. to Charles and Margaret (Dutton) Luffman. He graduated from Mynders Academy in Seneca Falls. He was united in marriage to Bonnie White July 14, 1973. He honorably served with the U.S. Army for three years prior to working at the Seneca Army Depot for 20 years. He worked at By Pork for 11 years and at the R-Bar & Lounge for seven years before retiring.
He is survived by his daughters, Tanya (Marcelino) Zuniga of Bryant, and Marie (Troy) Heer of Doland; six grandchildren; siblings, Guy (Dorothy) Luffman, Charles (Nancy) Luffman, Tammy (Scott) Ridley, Donald (Tammy) Luffman, Wesley (Gloria) Luffman all of Seneca Falls, N.Y., Judson (Robin) Luffman of Waterloo, N.Y., and John (Judy) Luffman of Hamburg, N.Y.; plus many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; twin brothers; grandparents, Judson (Margaret) Dutton and Ernest (Marion) Luffman; nephew, Edwin Luffman; and granddaughter, Alexandra Becker.
