HURON — The Los Compadres Mexican Restaurant is closed due to heavy smoke damage after a fire in the building was reported around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
An official with the Huron Fire Department said the cause of the fire remains under investigation, although they believe it was in the kitchen area.
The Cavour Fire Department also responded.
No other businesses were damaged.
