HIGHMORE — Michael Alan Ashdown, 56, of Highmore, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
A private funeral service will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Highmore. A public graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Highmore Cemetery in Highmore.
A walk through visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church. Masks are highly encouraged at all services.
The funeral service will be viewable at 10:30 a.m., Saturday on the funeral home website.
Mike was born May 19, 1964, to Carl and Lilly (Duchene) Ashdown. He married Shauna Vlcek August 31, 1991.
Survivors include his wife; children, Tristan and Taylor; and mother, Lilly Ashdown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Ashdown; uncles, Leslie Ashdown, Glenn and Hugh Ashdown, and Jerry Duchene; and aunt, Ruth (Ashdown) Robertson.
