Midway pad paving, grandstand renovation force cancellation of Saturday races

HURON — Due to a renovation project currently under way at the grandstands on the South Dakota State Fairgrounds and the recently competed resurfacing project on the midway area in front of the grandstands, the racing program scheduled for Saturday at Dakota State Fair Speedway has been cancelled.
During the extensive renovation project to the grandstands, portions of the seating area will be restricted during upcoming events held be for the start of the South Dakota State Fair.

The grandstands will have been in place for 100 years during 2018.
The next scheduled action at DSFS will be the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series event on July 1. Joining the sprint cars will be the WISSOTA Midwest modifiers.
