MILBANK — Milbank emerged with a sweep against Huron in a girls’ tennis match on Tuesday.
“We played some great, close matches,” Huron coach Rachel Kary said. “Unfortunately, things just didn't go our way in the end.”
Audrey Rubish at No.2 singles and Beth Engelhart at No. 4 singles threatened to break the shutout for the Tigers. They both lost matches in tiebreakers.
Earning exhibition wins for the Tigers were Lizzie Heinen, Eh Ku Shee and Christen Hoek.
Huron will be back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Madison Tournament.
