The National Collection for Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts continues through Sunday at Living Hope Alliance Church, 1779 Frank Ave. S.E. Drop-off hours are from 1 to 6 p.m. through Friday, 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Last year, 1,311 shoebox gifts were collected in Huron for distribution to children in disadvantaged areas of the world.
