Nancy Wright, 71, of Redfield

REDFIELD — Nancy Geneva Wright, 71, of Redfield, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018, at her home.  
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield, with  Reverend Tammy Toepke-Floyd officiating.  The burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery in Redfield. Visitation will be  from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, at Hyke Funeral Home, with family present. A prayer service and time for remembering her will follow at 7 p.m.
Nancy Geneva Ayers was born Sept. 19, 1946, at the Carrollton Clinic in Carrollton, Ga., to WC and Emma (Puckett) Ayers. She attended Maple Street School in Carrollton then went on to work at Custom Printwear.  
On August 6, 1965, she was married to Gerald Wright in Alabama, before they made their home in South Dakota.
She is survived by her sons, Doug Wright of Redfield and Kenny (fiancée Wanda) Wright of Sioux Falls; her daughters, Carol (Tom) Lambert of Redfield and Kourtney (Trevor) Armbruster of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; four grandchildren; sisters, Johnnie Mae Buchanan of Ridgeway, S.C., and Joann Chaney of Carrollton, Ga.; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and many nephews, nieces and their families.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; son, Steve; grandson, Jack Lambert; her parents and a brother.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hyke Funeral Home.
