HURON StoneyBrook Suites introduced three new leadership team members to Huron by hosting an Open House event Thursday afternoon.
The public was able to visit with new leadership team members Sara Schweigert, Jen Watson and Jenn Simpson, while also enjoying tours and treats on Thursday afternoon at StoneyBrook.
Schweigert is an R.N. at the assisted living facility, and became Administrator in December, after working 18 years at SunQuest nursing home in Huron.
“I was Nurse Manager at SunQuest so it is a step up to Administrator here,” Schweigert explained. “I’m looking forward to getting to know the residents and their families, while building a staff that enjoys their job.”
Watson, L.P.N., took on the Nurse and Restorive Therapy role at StoneyBrook in February, after graduating from Nursing School in 2016.
“I worked here in high school and now I’m happy to be back,” said Watson. “I’m looking forward to being part of a good team and doing what I can to keep the residents well, while getting to know them.”
Simpson graduated in 2014 in Huron, and has been an employee at StoneyBrook since 2012. She is taking on the challenge of being the Assistant Administrator at the Huron facility
“I started here in 2012 as a Floor Aid and worked my way up to where I am now,” Simpson said.
“I’m also looking forward to working with my new team and keeping the residents as well as possible.”
