REDFIELD — Nicole “Nikki” Lynn Bublitz, 44, of Redfield, passed away at her home Saturday, November 11, 2017.
She has been cremated and her memorial service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, at Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield.
Nicole “Nikki” Lynn Bublitz was born on January 17, 1973, at Clear Lake to David and Stephanie (Ball) Asmussen. She grew up in Goodwin as an only child.
She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her boxer, Hooch, whom she loved dearly. She loved being outside during the summer months and inside decorating during the cold holiday months. She also loved watching lifetime movies and doing puzzles during the winter. She enjoyed driving down country roads in her Chevy Silverado.
She will be greatly missed by her mother, Stephanie Asmussen of Redfield; daughter, Brittany Bublitz of Redfield; son, Austin Shepherd of Doland; grandson, Ashton Bublitz of Redfield; grandmother, Marilyn Ball of Redfield; boyfriend, Brad Becker of Redfield; and her special friends, Nikkie Gallop of Wisc. and Marie Phillips of Rapid City.
She is preceded in death by her dear friend, Don Doxsee; and her two boxers whom she loved with all her heart, Tyson and Trixie.
