IROQUOIS — Norma Glanzer, 86, of Iroquois, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, February 9, at Bethesda Church. Burial will be in the Ideal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bethesda Church with her family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kuhler Funeral Home.
Norma Ruth was born November 4, 1931, at Bridgewater to Jacob K. and Kathrine (Tschetter) Waldner. She was united in marriage to Wilson Glanzer at her parent’s home at rural Carpenter.  They made their home and farmed together at rural Iroquois.
Norma worked as a dietary aide at the Huron Nursing Home from 1982 to 1996. After retiring in 1996, the couple moved to Iroquois, where she cared for children at her day care.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Anderson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Carla (Dean) Reilly of Iroquois, Charlene (Bill) Berg of Fargo, N.D., and Cathryn Glanzer of Aberdeen; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy, in infancy; husband, Wilson, June 5, 2007; son-in-law, Tony Anderson; brother, Delmer Waldner; and foster brother, Melroy Waldner.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kuhler Funeral Home.
