ABERDEEN — Agtegra Cooperative’s board of directors has agreed to purchase North Star Energy, LLC, a propane business based in Aberdeen and serving customers in North Dakota and South Dakota, including an outlet in Huron.
NSE is currently owned equally by three partners, one of which is Agtegra Cooperative. Agtegra was recently approached to purchase the remaining two-thirds ownership interest in NSE.
This purchase further strengthens Agtegra’s Energy Division to better serve its customers. Effective, July 1, NSE will become part of Agtegra Cooperative.
